Machines Can't Cry

... But some of them can feel pain.

I swear, whenever I saw the Hocotate Ship all battered up and smashed into the ground, something inside of me died. I loved that little ship. I don't know why, but I've always had a great liking for the Ship. Sure it was a quirky little rustbucket, but it was also a likable rustbucket. I can't figure out why I liked it so much, but one thing's for certain is that the Hocotate Freight Ship shall remain as one of my most favorite robots/spaceships.
However, now that the Ship is killed off from the Pikmin series, it's going to be really hard looking at the Ship everytime I play Pikmin 2. It'll be even more hard listening to its squawcking voice without tearing up. It's also kind of sad that, despite its many other appearances, Pikmin 2 is the only game where we got to hear the Ship speak... Is there something wrong with me if I have this much of an attachment to the Ship?

Anyway, I was trying to make the Ship look like it did when it was wrecked in Pikmin 3. That way its wreckage looks just about as sad as its wreckage in Pikmin 3.
